研究背景： 虽然以往研究证实高体重指数（BMI）增加多种患癌风险，但是以往研究并没有考虑到影响BMI的混杂因素，以及样本例数不够，BMI测量偏倚等，因此有其局限性。 研究目的： 更准确的评价BMI与各种癌症的关系。 研究方法： 从英国临床实践研究数据库（CPRD）中调取1987-2012年的所有大于16岁的524万名患者信息，结局指标为22种恶性肿瘤。 研究结果： 524万名患者中有166955名患恶性肿瘤，高BMI增加17种恶性肿瘤患病风险，但每种风险随着肿瘤位置、大小、肿瘤类别的差别而不同。高BMI与子宫、胆囊、肾、宫颈、甲状腺恶性肿瘤以及白血病线性相关；与肝、结肠、卵巢、绝经后乳腺癌呈非线性相关；然而BMI与绝经前乳腺癌、膀胱癌呈负相关；对于吸烟人群，BMI与其患口腔癌和肺癌风险呈负相关，与不吸烟人群无关。 研究结论： 据本研究可推论多种恶性肿瘤是由于超重和肥胖所导致的，即使BMI处于正常范围上限也能增加患癌风险，可以预测BMI每增加1kg/m²，将会有3790人患BMI相关的恶性肿瘤，因此有必要正确评价并且采取措施改善人民健康。 原文出处： Bhaskaran, K., et
