 欧洲糖尿病研究学会(EASD)2014年会的一项报告表明，在高血压控制不佳的2型糖尿病患者中，达格列净(dapagliflozin)与血管紧张素转换酶抑制剂(ACEI)或血管紧张素受体拮抗剂(ARB)联用具有良好的安全性。

两项为期12周的随机、双盲研究以血糖(HbA1c 7.0-10.5%))和血压(BP: 140-164 / 85-104 mmHg)控制不佳的2型糖尿病患者为受试者。在研究1中，1613例接受ACEI或ARB治疗的患者随机加用dapagliflozin或安慰剂。在研究2中，2449例接受ACEI或ARB联合第二种降压药治疗的患者亦随机加用dapagliflozin或安慰剂。

结果显示，在两项研究中dapagliflozin和安慰剂组出现不良事件的患者比率均相似，并且很少出现严重不良事件。在研究1和2中，dapagliflozin组(1.0%和0.4%)因不良事件而退出的患者均少于安慰剂组(3.3和5.8%)。

两组低血糖发生率均较低，并且均未导致停药。未出现严重的血压相关性安全问题。研究1中dapagliflozin组发生1例直立性低血压。dapagliflozin组患者血尿酸升高，但血钠、血钾和血钙未受影响。
