Irribow OD片利用安斯泰来专有的药物递送技术WOWTAB开发，该药在接触口腔唾液时刻迅速崩解，因此无需喝水即可咀嚼。

Irribow片是5羟色胺3（5-HT3）受体拮抗剂，由安斯泰来发现。5羟色胺是一种神经递质，与肠胃蠕动、分泌和感觉有很大关系。
