JCEM:12周有氧高强度间歇训练后大脑葡萄糖摄取增加!

有氧运动训练能增加脑容量和血流量,但对脑代谢的影响却并不明显。近日,内分泌和代谢性疾病领域权威杂志Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism上发表了一篇研究文章,研究人员旨在明确高强度间歇训练(HIIT)是否会增加年轻人和老年人通过大脑葡萄糖摄取量来衡量的脑代谢。

研究人员测量了受试者HIIT之前和之后以及久坐(SED)对照者大脑葡萄糖摄取情况。该研究是在梅奥诊所完成的,参与者为SED没有重大疾病的年轻(18-30岁)和老年(65-80岁)成人。HIIT组样本量为n=15(9个年轻人,6个老年人),SED组样本量为n=12(6个年轻人,6个老年人)。受试者完成了12周的HIIT或SED。HIIT是每周以超过峰值有氧能力(VO2峰值)90%进行3天4×4分钟间隔运动和每周2天以70% VO2峰值在跑步机上快走。

研究人员采用18F-脱氧葡萄糖正电子发射断层扫描(18FDG-PET)在受试者静息和HIIT训练12周后测量的静息脑葡萄糖摄取量。在运动后96小时内进行扫描检查。用间接测热法测定VO2峰值。研究人员发现相比于SED受试者,HIIT受试者的顶颞和尾区葡萄糖摄取量显著增加。并未在所有的大脑区域中观察到HIIT的收益。VO2峰值是在所有进行HIIT的参与者中有所增加,并且SED参与者没有改变。

由此可见,成人进行HIIT训练12周后大脑中减少阿尔茨海默氏病发病的脑区葡萄糖代谢增加。
