J INT SOC SPORT NUTR:Omega-3脂肪酸补充剂可以减少运动后的肌肉酸痛

ω−3脂肪酸(Omega-3 fatty acids)是一类不饱和脂肪酸,其中最重要、最常见的的3种为:α-亚麻酸(ALA)、二十碳五烯酸(EPA)和二十二碳六烯酸(DHA)。

ω-3脂肪酸在我们的身体中发挥着重要的作用。ω-3脂肪酸人体内无法合成,必须从饮食,主要是从鱼类获得。ω−3脂肪酸不仅可以减少炎症,与具有促进炎症的ω-6脂肪相反。同时,它对我们的循环系统至关重要,能帮助血液适当凝结,并调节血管扩张和收缩,降低心脏病的风险,另外对大脑和心理健康产生不可思议的影响。

近日,发表在Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition杂志的一项研究显示,运动引起的肌肉损伤(EIMD)会导致短暂的肌肉炎症、力量下降以及肌肉酸痛。服用ω-3脂肪酸补充剂可能有助于减轻运动后的肌肉酸痛。

在这项研究中,研究人员收纳了14名健康男性,平均年龄在25岁,并随机分配为2组:实验组和安慰剂组。实验组给予ω-3补充剂,每天三次;安慰剂组服用与之相匹配的安慰剂。补充4周后,受试者参加一场非常激烈的运动计划,造成严重的肌肉疼痛和生理安全的肌肉损伤。随后测量了参与者血液中的炎症水平和肌肉损伤标志物,以及在接下来的三天里肌肉收缩的能力。

结果发现,EIMD后24小时,实验组的肌肉酸痛程度明显低于安慰剂组。相比于安慰剂组,实验组白细胞介素-6(IL-6)显著升高,但是两组之间没有显著差异。然而,omega-3似乎并没有改变肌肉收缩能力,腿部力量并没有显著改变。

总之,单次高强度运动后,补充ω-3可降低炎症反应,减少肌肉疼痛。然而,对肌肉功能和腿部力量影响有限。
