本研究纳入133名健康个体和104名疑似结节病和胸外科诊断患者。将组织病理学结果与几丁三醇苷酶(CTO)、血清淀粉样蛋白- a (SAA)、可溶性白细胞介素-2受体(sIL-2R)、溶菌酶(LZM)血管紧张素转换酶(ACE)的生物标志物水平进行对比。

69例经病理组织学证实为结节病。研究结果显示,CTO活性、sIL-2R浓度和ACE活性可以区分结节病和对照组患者,而SAALZM浓度不能。由ACECTO活性相乘得到的新组合参数(双重乘积)在该临床研究中显示出最佳的诊断准确性:(AUC = 0.898,灵敏度:90.5%,特异性:79.3%,阳性和阴性预测值 :分别为90.5%和79.3%)。

研究结果表明,在大多数无侵袭性活检的结节病肺部表现病例中,ACECTO联合分析比单一血清生物标志物更能准确诊断结节病。
